Tucked between Dollywood and the Gatlinburg Golf Course, this gorgeous two-bedroom cabin boasts an unbeatable location. You’re mere moments from all the attractions, dining and shopping Pigeon Forge can offer, yet your cabin is a relaxing oasis. Check out the modern amenities and old-fashioned hospitality at It’s a Wonderful Life.
LIVING ROOM
A cathedral ceiling soars overhead, making the snow-white walls and golden wood trim gleam with light. The decor is elegantly simple, from the stone fireplace and barn wood tables to the plush sofa and boldly patterned rug. Pour some moonshine or fruit wine, then settle down in front of the big flat-screen TV. Catch up on those shows you keep missing, back home.
KITCHEN
Everything’s in easy reach, in this conveniently laid out kitchen. Sparkling stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops and blonde wood cabinets make this a bright space. Pop a cup into the handy coffee station and brew some hot joe while you’re cooking. You’ll have all the dishes, cookware and utensils you need, so why not experiment? Pick up locally grown veggies and locally raised meat at a farmer’s market and cook up a true taste of Tennessee.
DINING
Eight hungry folks can gather at the beautiful wood dining table. Because the table is just steps from the kitchen, food always arrives fresh and hot. The leather chairs are so comfortable, you’ll want to linger here to chat or play board games after dinner.
BEDROOMS
With a king bedroom, a bunk room with two queen bunks, a twin bed and a queen sleeper sofa, the cabin offers plenty of options for up to nine guests.
The king bedroom pampers you with a deep, jetted tub at the foot of your bed. Soak here after a day of hiking or shopping, and let the jets of warm water soothe your muscles. Enjoy the exposed log ceiling beams, original Smokies artwork and flat-screen TV.
The unusual bunk room sports “queen-over-queen” bunks. No tiny kids’ bunks here! This space includes a TV and a second jetted tub.
Two bathrooms, one with a shower and tub combo and one with a shower stall, give everyone ample space to get ready each morning.
In the loft you’ll find a twin bed that can double as a daybed where you can hide out to read or nap. Slip away from the family for some “me time” in this sunny corner.
GAME ROOM
Next to the bunk area is the luxurious game room, with its own fireplace of rounded river stones. Rack up the balls and shoot pool on the red-felted pool table whenever you like. Play darts and see who scores highest–let the winner pick tomorrow’s outing. Relive your teen years, playing Pac-Man and other classic video games on the full-sized, arcade game console.
OUTDOOR SPACES
With a porch out front and a covered deck out back, you’ll want to hang out in the fresh air. Relax on a rocking chair on the front porch, or eat lunch on the deck at the outdoor dining table. Take a long dip in the bubbling hot tub while you enjoy the scent of lush, green trees just yards away.
This rental includes use of the nearby indoor and outdoor resort swimming pools! You can swim and play year-round. Don’t forget the pool toys.
