Spring Rod Run | When: April 15 - 17, 2021
Automotive enthusiasts all over the country are invited to take part in Pigeon Forge’s annual Spring Rod Run, the first part of three of the largest muscle car events in the nation. Spring Rod Run precedes the Fall Rod Run and Shades of the Past events to kick off an exciting new year that keeps the classics front and center. Join thousands of other classic car lovers in Pigeon Forge from April 15 - 17, 2021, Thursday through Saturday at LeConte Center. The venue presents enough room to showcase an impressive array of cars, vendor stalls, and entertainment. Event times run from 9 am to 6 pm on Thursday and Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday.
Spring Rod Run attendees will have the opportunity to compete for top prizes. There will be a $10,000 cash giveaway for one lucky attendee, but several additional contests will ensure many more winners. There’s an opportunity to win any one of the Top 25 Awards, the Ultimate 5 Awards, or the King of the Hill Award. Plenty of people will be walking away as prize winners. Even if you’re not interested in registering for contests, you’re welcome to drive up in your muscle car to wow the spectators.
To add to the excitement of the vehicles on the floor, there will be a wide array of vendors ready to sell hard-to-find car parts, accessories, or even entire vehicles that they’re looking to add to a collector’s garage.
As for food and lodging, there are plenty of establishments along the strip, but it’s a good idea to book accommodations or call in restaurant reservations ahead of time. Establishments close to LeConte Center can be busy or booked during this weekend with the thousands of people who flock to Pigeon Forge for this outstanding event installment.
There is typically a $10 admission fee to gain access for the entire weekend, as close to the action as you can get (and take advantage of LeConte Center’s free parking). However, if you’d just like to watch the cars cruise along the strip, you’re welcome to bring lawn chairs and sit along the sidewalk for optimal viewing, free of charge. Because this area is exposed to sunlight, be sure to bring sunscreen, umbrellas, water, anything you need to beat the heat.
This is a once a year event that’s unrivaled in the turnout it receives, so if you enjoy classic cars, come check out the Spring Rod Run in Pigeon Forge. It’s sure to be a lot of fun.

Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion | When: August 26 - 28, 2021
The Smoky Mountains are getting ready for an invasion - of Jeeps! The annual Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion is rolling into Pigeon Forge. And you can choose to be a part of it. Bring yourself, bring your family, or even bring your Jeep!
This event is only a few years old, but it’s been growing like a weed! From just 165 jeeps and a few thousand attendees, the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion has blossomed into an industry behemoth with over 10,000 guests last year, all enjoying the lineup of over 4,000 unique Jeep vehicles.
If you’re new to the world of Jeeps (or if you’re just curious) then you may be wondering what there is to do at a Jeep convention. Similar to a car show, there will be plenty of great Jeeps to look at, from industry classics to customized rides.
You’ll also be able to peruse lots of vendors, some of the national names, and other local Jeep shops from the great state of Tennessee. This is your chance to pick up all the spare parts you might ever need, and to get a firsthand glimpse at some of the crazier parts enthusiasts to attach to their Jeeps.
The Show and Shine competition is a must for those looking to show off their builds (or for anyone who wants to admire the Jeep work of others). And of course, there’s plenty of food and great people to meet.
Jeeps are perfectly at home in the Smoky Mountains. Their rugged readiness for rough terrain makes them perfect for navigating the backroads of Tennessee. And when you’re done roughing it in a Jeep, you can come to kick your feet up in one of our Pigeon Forge cabins to complete your Smoky Mountain experience. Our cabins are conveniently located all around Pigeon Forge, so you’ll be just a short drive away from the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion.
Whether you’re a diehard Jeep owner or you're just looking for some fun out in the August sun, then Pigeon Forge’s Jeep Invasion is the place to park. You can register your own Jeep for the event here.
