Rowdy Bear Ridge Amusement Park
Rowdy’s the name, and rowdy’s the game: At Rowdy Bear Ridge Adventure Park in Pigeon Forge, you can fly downhill (no skis required!) or sail through the air for the wildest day of your Smoky Mountains vacation. Check out how these adventures will get your pulse pounding:
Shoot lasers while you ride a coaster
What if you could ride a roller coaster and play laser tag at the same time? You can, on the Alpine Flyer Laser Gun Coaster at Rowdy Bear Ridge’s Pigeon Forge location.
This unique coaster suspends you in midair, then flings you through twists, turns and dips while you fire your laser gun at targets as you race past them. Ride this thriller over and over to boost your target score. This is North America’s only laser gun coaster and we’ve got this one-of-a-kind experience right here in Pigeon Forge.
Go tubing all year long
Kids and adults alike love tubing, whooshing downhill while balanced on a big, air-filled donut. But tubing’s usually wintertime fun—you need snow, right? Or maybe a water flume? Not at Rowdy Bear Ridge park.
The Year-Round Outdoor Tubing Hill sends you down a speedy track without water or snow. It’s open in all seasons, day and night, seven days a week. Get your ticket for 30 minutes or a full hour to fill with as many tubing runs as you can make.
No need to trudge uphill at the start, or after each run. Just ride the “magic carpet” conveyor back to the top, saving your energy for the breathless descent moments later. The hill is more than 500 feet long, with a 70-foot drop, and some tubers reach speeds of up to 35 miles an hour. You can ride solo or link up to three tubes together to fly downhill with friends. Since the Outdoor Tubing Hill isn’t a water slide or snow track, you won’t get soaked.
Tubers need to be at least four years old, but Rowdy Bear Ridge hasn’t forgotten the little ones. There’s a gentler Small Hill Ride for kids two years old and up.
You can choose just tubing, just the Alpine Flyer laser tag coaster, or a combination of both exciting rides. Rowdy Bear Ridge Adventure Park also offers photo packages so you’ll never forget your day here.
When you’re done, come home to another unforgettable place, your private vacation cabin. Choose your Smoky Mountains cabin from the hundreds we offer.
